The sanford springvale fish game protective association was founded in 1938 with the intent of preserving maine s wildlife and furthering the enjoyment of the area s many outdoor sporting activities such as hunting fishing shooting and archery. The springvale pistol club offers 4 ranges including moving target range and indoor air pistol range. 5pm 9pm monday tuesday thursday 10am 6pm saturday. The facility which includes a licensed bar lounge and restaurant caters to 22 rifles only at 50m no magnums.

All pistols must point down range at all times and must be cleared by the range officer before target scoring competition. The range may not be used for trailbikes etc at anytime including outside of normal shooting hours. Opposite sandown raceway as with most other pistol ranges no factory magnum loads or full metal jacket ammunition is permitted however we do permit the use of semi jacketed ammunition on certain ranges.

We currently maintain two separate shooting facilities. Both are accessible to members and their guests from sunrise to sunset 365 days a year unless otherwise posted. The full day course commences at 9am and finishes around 4 30pm lunch break included and classes are kept small so more time is given for individual.
